Children may trick-or-treat in Camden between 6 and 8 p.m. Friday night.

Camden Lions Club's 12th annual Halloween Costume Party will be Friday from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Community Building. Along with costume judging for all ages there will be popcorn, candy and drinks. Club members are asked to be there by 7 p.m.

Town Council will have a meeting at 6 p.m. Oct. 30 in the town office.

Camden American Legion Auxiliary will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the Legion Home. Hostesses will be Janet Barnaby, Marge Sieber and Sue Wertz.

Volunteer firemen will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the Fireman's Lounge.

Blood pressure checks will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Fireman's Lounge.

Mt. Zion Lodge No. 211 will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Masonic Temple.

Camden Lions Club's annual Family Thanksgiving carry-in meal will be Nov. 5 at 6:30 p.m. in the Fireman's Lounge. Meat and drinks will be provided.

Dorcas Missionary Society of the Baptist Church will meet at 6 p.m. Nov. 6 at the church. Cathy Gero will give devotions. Bible book of the month is II Corinthians.

A footcare clinic will be held at 3 p.m. Nov. 6 at the Senior Citizen's Lounge.

Storytime is held every Thursday at 4 p.m. at the Camden-Jackson Twp. Public Library.

Camden American Legion Post 413 and the community are sponsoring a Veteran's Day program on Nov. 9 at 6 p.m. in the Community Building. Elementary school children are making posters and writing poems and/or stories to honor veterans.
