Disagrees with Brown
Commissioner Bill Brown is wrong on the raise issue for highway superintendent Ron Francis. Brown fails to look at the whole picture. Carroll County is in the red; it can't afford EMTs or police deputies so it can't give raises no matter if they are needed.
Until Carroll County and the U.S. is better stabilized, there will be more cuts and layoffs, etc.
What Carroll County needs is better leaders to get this county more jobs so we can improve ourselves. Giving out a raise to Mr. Francis will only help his pockets, not help others who need it more.
Mr. Brown should be helping all the people of Carroll County, not just one person. Harry W. Idle Rural Burnettsville (Carroll County)
