Not only do you have one of the items mentioned but have you checked it to be sure it is in working order? We change the batteries in the detector when we change our time in the spring and fall. You may also want to upgrade from just smoke detector to a carbon monoxide detector. Going too cheap may cost you and your love ones your life.
