Rebecca Anne Simison Beever, 90, died Oct. 10, 2008, at Regency Place in Lafayette where she had resided since April. Among the survivors is a stepdaughter, Linda Calvert (husband: Glenn) of Delphi. Services were held Oct. 14 in Lafayette.

Beulah V. Berkshire, 108, of Burnettsville, died Oct. 11, 2008, at Memorial Hospital in Logansport. At the time of her death, it was believed she was the oldest resident in the state of Indiana. Among the survivors is a grandchild, Rowena McMasters (husband: Bill) of Delphi. Services were held Oct 14 in Logansport.
