Ronda Kay McKinney, 67, of Grand Ledge, Mich., went to be with her Lord Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2008.

Ronda was born July 30, 1941, in Bringhurst, Ind., the daughter of the late Gentry and Helen Mummert Ross.

She was a retired hairdresser, beloved by so many of her clients and operators, including Carmen Near and Nora Guerra and her dear fellow operator, Bobbie Scott.

She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Delta Township.

Ronda was a devoted wife and very proud of her children and grandchildren, the proverbial "sunshine of her life." She will be dearly missed by all who ever knew her.

Survivors include her loving husband of 41 years, Phil; beloved daughter, Molly K. McKinley of Grand Ledge; and five grandchildren, Madison and Gracie McKinley, Ryan, Alissia and Mateo Palacios; three stepchildren, Shannon D. McKinney of Lansing, Richard McKinney (wife: Trish) and Dave McKinney, both of Staunton, Va.; a sister, Pat Klebes (husband: Joe) of Indianapolis; a brother, Ricky Bill Mummert (wife: Anne) of Flora; and stepfather, William J. Mummert of Bringhurst.

Funeral services were held Friday at the Trinity United Methodist Church. Interment followed at Delta Center Cemetery.
