Kiwanis Club is sponsoring a blood drive on Tuesday from 1 to 6:30 p.m. in the Community Park Building.

The Carroll County Democratic Party will hold the annual Jefferson-Jackson Day dinner Saturday at the Community Park Building. Registration will open at 5:30 p.m. with dinner following at 6:30.

Kiwanis Club will meet for breakfast and meeting Saturday morning at 7:30 at the fire station.

Bible Study is held from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Community Center.

Lunch is served at the Community Center at 12 noon. Monday through Friday. Games, including rummikub and euchre, are played starting at 1 p.m.

Any Burlington area resident interested in transportation for doctor appointments, to pick up groceries, medicine, and for shopping, etc., is asked to contact Cheryl Milburn at the number above.

Burlington United Methodist Church will have evening services every Sunday beginning Oct. 19 at 6:30 p.m. This will be an informal service for those who want to worship, but are unable to attend a Sunday morning service. The worship will be a time of prayer, Bible reading, songs, and stories. Dress is casual.

United Methodist Women will meet Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the church.

A group from Crossroads Community Christian Church will present a program Sunday afternoon at 2 at Carroll Manor. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Crossroads youth group will meet Sunday evening at 6.

Peter Heck will speak Sunday evening from 4 to 6 at Faith Church of Christ. He will present the third in a special series entitled "America's Foundation of Faith."

Faith youth groups will meet Sunday with first through fifth grades meeting from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. and junior high and high school youth from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Oakland Christian Church's Crossfire youth Group will meet Sunday at 6 p.m.
