Bridge-A-Rama
Bridge-A-Rama high scores for September were Joan Maxwell and Donnabelle Sieber with 3,410 points, Mary Brown and Leanne Aldrich with 3,370 points and Helen Schilling and Anne Briggs with 3,320 points.
High scores in each group were Jane Smith and Mary Kelly, Pat Myer and Robert Crume, Schilling and Joan Vianco, Smith and Sieber, Rita Wingard and Sieber, Sharon Quinn and Betty Jean Sprague, Smith and Vianco, Melverine and Ed Gruber, and Brown and Laura Baker.
Proceeds from Bridge-ARama support Tri Kappa scholarships.
Wednesday Forum
Members of Wednesday Forum met at the Flora Family Restaurant for their October meeting. Norma Sullivan conducted the program, "Using Heirloom Quilts In Genealogy Research." When making quilts for family history, remember the followingfind out something about the quilt maker, when, where and why it was made and who owned it, and any interesting details about the pieces. Examine the quilt for signatures and dates and be sure to record all findings.
Lions Meeting
Delphi Lions Club met at Stone Barn, Oct. 1 at 6:30 p.m. District Governor Charles Short would like the club to add one more service activity this year. It was noted a new vision van is needed for District C. Adopt-AHighway trash pick up occurred Oct. 8. Fruit sales began Oct. 1 and will end Nov. 19. It was announced the Christmas parade will be Dec. 6 at 1 p.m. with theme of "Old Fashion Christmas." The next meeting will be Nov. 19.
