Carroll cross country sweeps HHC
      The cross country program at Carroll Jr.-Sr. High did something it has never done before - won all four team championship titles in cross country during the same season. Coach Mike Miller's high school teams won both boys' and girls' team titles last Thursday while Coach Matt Benner's junior high teams came back on Friday and won both as well.

Cougars fall in sectional
Finish with best ever record
      Carroll's Varsity Soccer Team finished its best season ever last Thursday night. The Cougars drew Northwestern for the first game in the sectional. They gave their best effort but came up short, 6-2. Northwestern came into the game with a 12-3-1 record, having outscored their opponents 97-14 during the season.

Cougars bounce back, hold off Falcons
      The Cougars bounced back from a disappointing loss last week to defeat the Frontier Falcons 28-17 in a non-conference game. "I can't say enough about our kids," Carroll Coach Steve Keown said. "This was our sixth win, and it equals the wins we've had over the last three years combined.

Oracles still searching for win
      While the weather was perfect the Oracle football was not. Benton Central made sure that the Oracles will go into their final regular season game of the year still searching for their first win. Benton Central dealt Delphi a 50-7 defeat.

      Flora's Fall 8-and-under baseball team competed in the Delphi Fall Baseball League with teams from Delphi, Otterbein, North White, and two from Rossville throughout the season and tournament.

Fall Sports Summaries
      Oracle JV drops two Delphi's JV football team lost a pair of games recently. The first was to Benton Central 14-0 and then to Carroll 44-6. Against the Bison, the Oracle defense made several stands with their backs in their own end zone. Offensively, the team was led by Matt Brown and Stephan Back, running, and Aaron Back, receiving.
