Winners are announced in three contests held at Flora Community Club's Moonlight Madness event held Saturday evening on the downtown streets.
There were two winners in the Scarecrow Contest. Business winner was Eikenberry Fine Furniture, with a figure on stuffed-animal horse. Individual winner was Gale Ann Downham, with a full-size scarecrow made to look like her friend, Ron Rice of Flora. Rice waters the flowers downtown, and the scarecrow came complete with watering can and wagon.
The winning scarecrows will be on display through Monday at the former Jamp Sales - future location for The Porcupine Truffle bakery and café.
Roger Stewart of Flora won the Chili Cook-Off with his buffalo-meat and mushroom recipe.
A Cutest Moonbeam Baby contest was held for the first time, with 16 entrants.
Winners were: Elle Mae Briggs, daughter of Jody and Holly Briggs, first place; Sterlin Miller, son of Shawn and Amy Miller, second; and Isaac Perry, son of Joe and Julie Perry, third.

The contest raised $1,425.47.
