Story time will resume at the Camden-Jackson Township Public Library on Thursday at 4 p.m. and will continue at 4 on Thursdays thereafter.
Women's Missionary Society of the Baptist Church will meet at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 15 at the home of Jennifer Wallace. Bible book of the month is I Corinthians.
Baptist Church Board of Christian Education will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the church. The church will have a business meeting at 7 p.m. Wed., Oct. 15.
Aim Hi Extension Homemakers Club will meet at 7 p.m. Oct. 16 at the home of Jane George with Jean Willy assisting. Members are reminded to bring donations of underwear, T-shirts, hats, mittens, sweatpants, and socks for boys and girls.
Camden Woman's Literary Club will meet Oct. 21 for a backyard picnic (rain or shine) at the home of Peggy Lach-Stone, 50W. 425N. Those attending are asked to take a salad or dessert. Assisting will be Janet Barnaby and Judy Berkshire.
Jesus Junction held its first meeting of the new school year on Sept. 24 with 26 kids and 15 adults attending.
Camden Lions Club met Oct. 1 in the Fireman's Lounge with 11 members present. Plans were made for the annual Halloween party from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 31 in the Community Building and the annual family Thanksgiving supper on Nov. 5 in the Fireman's Lounge. New officers are: Rob Appleton, president; Mark Abbott, first chair; Loren Hylton, second chair; Ron King, third chair; Jill Moudy, secretary; Eric Foreman, treasurer; Jimpsie Doyel, tail twister; Maxine Snider, lion tamer; Bill Dittman, membership chairman; and directors Brice Miller and Kenny Berkshire, two years, and David Jeffery and Rob Carpenter, one year.
