Presbyterian Women are participating in a mission project called "Operation Socks for Our Troops." They are collecting wool socks or money to purchase socks to be shipped to soldiers serving in the cold mountainous regions of Afghanistan. If possible, socks should be purchased and ready for shipment before winter hits. If interested, call Doris Fouts with socks or cash donations until Oct. 20.

Youth of Faith Lutheran Church will meet Sunday after worship to make future plans. All interested youth are invited.

A Hap's Chicken Bash will be held Oct. 15 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Carryouts are available, but tickets must be purchased in advance by calling Lois Wallace, 859-2695, or Shelia Meek, 859-2682.
