Deer Creek Presbyterian Church will have its monthly breakfast Saturday morning from 7 to 10. Everyone in the community is invited.

The women of the WELCA of Faith Lutheran meet at the church on the second Tuesday of every month. All woman in the church are invited to attend. Meetings start at 1:30 p.m.

On the first Tuesday of the month, Faith Lutheran will have a senior potluck at 12 noon at the church. Bring a dish to share. All seniors of the community are invited to the fall potluck. Come and have fun with your neighbors.

On Oct. 12 after worship the youth of Faith Lutheran Church will meet to do some planning, Junior and senior high youth are invited.

Golden Girls met recently at the home of Harry and Margy Albaugh. He fried some of the fish he has been catching. The women each brought a covered dish to share. Those attending were Joan Jones, Bob and Pat Burnham and Darletta of Thorntown, Jerry and Mary Blue of Cutler, Dot Fulton, Marilyn Hile of Deer Creek, Betty Gordon and Jane Slusser of Logansport.
