Cougars roll over Gophers

      Clinton Prairie was Carroll's fifth victim of this football season as the Cougars put the victory away early. The Gophers suffered a crushing 59-6 defeat at the hands of the Cougars. CP came into the game 3- 2 on the year; they are a very young team, with only 6 seniors for leadership.

Oracles blanked by Blackhawks

      The Delphi Oracle football squad traveled to Sheridan Friday night for a conference matchup with the state's No. 1 Class A team and three-time Class A defending State Champions. The Blackhawks quickly had the game under their control, winning 50-0.

      Delphi's #1 Abby Cunningham returns a serve while #14 Brittany Nelson looks for a rebound in last week's volleyball match-up with North White. The Oracles won the contest in five games, 19-25, 26-24, 22-25, 25-9 and 15-2.

      Against Benton Central last week, the Lady Oracles just never got any momentum going. Delphi was defeated 17-21, 10-21. Leading the Oracles in serving were Danielle Allen with 8 service points and Lakin Smith with 4 service points and 1 ace serve.
