Raymond Pearson, 55, of St. Petersburg, Fla., formerly of Delphi, died Aug. 24, 2008.

Born Nov. 26, 1952, in Lafayette, he was the son of Raymond and Juanita Pearson. He graduated from Delphi High School.

Mr. Pearson was a heavy equipment operator.

He enjoyed NASCAR, Harleys and his grandchildren.

Surviving are his loving wife, Donna Pearson of St. Petersburg; only one son, Ryan Pearson of Americus; his mother, Juanita Scott of Lafayette; four stepchildren of St. Petersburg; two step grandsons of St. Petersburg; and one unborn granddaughter of Americus.

His father preceded him in death.

Services were held Aug. 30 in St. Petersburg.
