Delphi man caught growing marijuana
Floyd L. Davis, 48, of Delphi, was arrested Sept. 22 at approximately 7 p.m. for growing marijuana plants at his residence in Carroll County.
The investigation conducted by the Indiana State Police Marijuana Eradication Team discovered Davis was in possession of 18 live marijuana plants in an outdoor grow operation. He had roughly onequarter pound of processed marijuana also in his possession.
Davis was transported to Carroll County Jail and charged with cultivating marijuana over 30 grams, a Class D felony, maintaining a common nuisance, a Class D felony and possession of paraphernalia, a Class A misdemeanor.
Assisting Indiana State Police was the Carroll County Sheriff's Department.
Law enforcement reminds anyone with information about a marijuana grow operation or any other criminal activity to call the local police department or contact the local Indiana State Police Post and report location of the crime and possible suspects.
