Carroll will play in the Lafayette Sectional at the Lafayette Municipal Golf Course this Saturday. Megan Garrison will be defending her sectional title from last year. She has advanced to the Regionals the past three years and will try to make it four, with hopes of advancing to the State Finals. She has come up two strokes shy of advancing each of the past two years. More ... Despite a lot of mistakes by the Cougars, when the horn sounded at the end of the game Carroll was 4-0 after defeating the Fremont Eagles 40-14. The referees called 19 flags for 190 yards on both teams; a few of them were questionable. Of those penalties, 11 were called against the Cougars for a total of 120 yards, most for holding penalties. More ... Delphi Varsity Volleyball team beat county rival Carroll last week in three games 25- 19, 25-15, 25-12. More ... The Carroll Varsity Soccer team had another solid week last week starting with a 4-1 win over visiting Twin Lakes High School. The Cougars got started just two and a half minutes into the game on a goal by senior Chase Meade with an assist from Michael Myer. More ... The steady rain in Monticello on Friday night didn't help the Oracles' running game as Twin Lakes came out on top 30-0. The Indians held the Oracles to a minus 37 yards on 24 carries. The equally anemic passing game didn't help with just one completed pass on the evening, good for a net three yards. More ... Delphi Junior Varsity football team easily defeated Clinton Prairie Monday night. Matt Brown led the Oracles with one passing touchdown to Aaron Back, 2 running TDs, and an interception.
