Carroll's Lady Cougar golf team has been playing well and improving all season.

On Aug. 26, the Cougars played Taylor and Eastern in a home match at Angel Hill Golf Course. Carroll won with a 202 over Taylor with a 208 and Eastern 225. Carroll was led by senior Megan Garrison's 41 followed by Taylor Sproul with 47, Malena Zook 52 and Katie Unger 62. Garrison was medalist.

The Cougars had another home match on Aug. 28 against West Lafayette and Frankfort. Carroll shot a team score of 197, but lost to both West Lafayette at 184 and Frankfort at 193. Carroll's scores were Garrison 37, Sproul 48, Zook 49 (a personal best) and Unger 63. Garrison was again medalist.

On Sept. 3, the Lady Cougars traveled to the par 36 Logansport Golf Course to compete against Lewis Cass and Winamac. Carroll finished second with a score of 213. Winamac won with a 199 and Cass came in third with 218. Garrison was medalist with a new personal best and new school record 1 under par 35, Sproul's new personal best is 45. Katie Unger shot a 68 and Emma Packard 65.

Carroll's season record is 5 wins to 4 losses.
