Edwin E. Gascho
Edwin E. Gascho, 81, of Rossville, formerly of Cutler, died at 1:32 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5, 2008, at Milner Community Health Care in Rossville.
Born May 11, 1927, in Clinton County, he was the son of John Henry and Amy Eller Gascho. On Nov. 11, 1948, he married Doris Sue Wagoner, who preceded him in death on June 17, 1995.
Mr. Gascho farmed most of his life. He also worked in maintenance at McDonald's Restaurant in Lafayette and worked at Indiana Packers Corp. in Delphi, retiring in June 1996.
He was a member of the Flora Old German Baptist Brethren Church.
Surviving are a son, James Edwin Gascho (wife: Marletta) of Battleground; a daughter, Carmen Ewing of Greenville, Ohio; a sister, Phyllis Meador of Rossville; two grandchildren, Kenlyn Cadwallader (husband: Josh) of Indianapolis and Krista Gascho of Battleground; and a great-grandson, Jaxson Cadwallader.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; a son, Ralph Leon Gascho; a sonin law, Jack Ewing; a brother, Kenneth Gascho; and a sister, Nina Wagoner.
Services were held Monday at Bodine Funeral Home, Rossville. Home brethren officiated. Burial was at Middlefork Old German Baptist Brethren Cemetery.
