A public event, "Party at Deer Creek Park," is set for Sept. 13 from 2 to 7 p.m.

The park is located at 6336E State Road 218, Camden.

Activities will include a children's Bicycle Rodeo, fishing tournament, and a cruise-in/ride-in for cars, motorcycles, and bikes.

The bike rodeo, conducted by the Carroll County Sheriff's Dept., will be from 2 to 3 p.m.

A fishing tournament, for ages 12 and under, will start at 5 p.m.

Trophies and prizes will be awarded for both the rodeo and fishing tournament.

Among those coming for the bike club ride-in will be the Kokomo Bicycle Tour Club.

The Jackson Township Fire Department will have a display and will give a Jaws of Life demonstration from 3 to 5 p.m.

Burlington Kiwanis Club will have food at the park, and Lions Club ice cream will be available.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Friends of Carroll County Parks.
