Sunday School will resume at Deer Creek Presbyterian Church starting Sept. 14. The adult Sunday School class meets in the library at 8:45 a.m. Worship and Children's Sunday School for Pre-K through 6th grade is downstairs starting at 10 a.m. during worship.

Matt Knopf will serve as interim pastor at Faith Lutheran Church. He will serve parttime, (two days a week with rotating Sundays).

Faith Lutheran Church will have its annual all-you-caneat pork chop supper on Sept. 20. Please mark your calendars.

Deer Creek Crickets traveled recently to Fort Wayne to have lunch at the home of one of their own, Chris Kennel. Also attending were Lois Wallace, Judy Leach, Nan Jones, Barb Ottinger, and Nancy Weaver. They spent the day visiting.

Wayne and Helen Forgey recently celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary. They met their son and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Forgey, in Kokomo for lunch.

The Good Neighbor Gals recently went to the West Side Diner for lunch. Those attending were Mary Ellen Johnson, Dot Fulton, Marilyn Hile, Dottie Delaplane, Helen Forgey, Ellen Herr and Liz Mylet. Stopping in to visit a few minutes were Debbie Delaplane and her daughter, Kim.
