The annual Burlington Fall Festival Queen Contest will be held Sept. 17 at 7 p.m. in the Community Park Building. The queen and her court will be attending and assisting with festival events Sept. 18- 21.

The Little Miss and Mister Contest will be held at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 18 in the Community Park Building.

The Burlington Fall Festival will be held Sept. 18-21 with activities at Burlington Community Park. Food, fun, activities, entertainment, parade, rendezvous and more are planned.

Kiwanis Club will meet Saturday at 7:30 a.m. for breakfast and meeting at the fire station. The club will be serving lunch at the Family Fun Day on Saturday at Deer Creek Park.

A mincemeat making day will be held Monday beginning at 9 a.m. at the United Methodist Church. UMW will meet at 1:30 p.m. at the church. Guest speaker will be Patti Tehan from the Riley Hospital Foundation.

The United Methodist Church is collecting clothes, used furniture, toys, kitchen items, etc. to be sent on the Kentucky Mission Truck which will be at the church on Sept. 29. All items may be left in the garage in the first bin upon entering the alley.

Bible study topic at Crossroads Community Christian Church for Sept. 10 at 7 p.m. will be "How Would Jesus Vote."

Faith Church of Christ is collecting non-perishable food items for the Kokomo Urban Outreach.

Faith CWF will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at the church.
