Langston STAFF SGT. STEPHEN CONWAY, who served two tours of duty in Iraq, has recently been assigned to the U.S. Army's Lafayette recruiting station, 325 S. Earl St., and serves as Army representative for the metro Lafayette, Delphi, Frankfort, Monticello, and Monon areas.
He comes to Indiana from Fort Carson, Colo., where he had been serving since 2005 as a squad team leader, scout, and sniper with the 1st Battalion, 9th Infantry Regiment. He was deployed with this unit to Ar Ramadi, Iraq, from July, 2004-Aug., 2005, and again from Oct., 2006-Jan., 2008.
During his military career, he was also stationed at Camp Hovey, Korea, as a machine gunner and rifleman.
His awards and decorations include the Valorous Unit Award, four Army Commendation Medals, two Army Achievement Medals, two Good Conduct Medals, National Defense Service Medal, two Iraq Campaign Medals, Korean Defense Service Medal, and Global War on Terrorism Service Medal.
A native of Elizabethtown, Ky., Conway and his wife, Hannah, have a child, McIain.
DANIELLE KELLY and CRAIG PADGETT have joined Gangwer Insurance Agency, Inc., as agents in the Rossville office.
Kelly has been hired as the company's newest commercial lines underwriter. She has over eight years of experience.
A lifelong resident of Carroll County, Kelly is a graduate of Delphi Community High School. She is married to Andy Kelly and they reside with their family in Camden.
Padgett has been hired to assist with auto, home, business and farm insurance needs.
He is a graduate of Rossville Middle/High School and recently earned a Bachelor's degree from Purdue University, majoring in selling and sales management.

St. Elizabeth Regional Health has recently made several organizational appointments.
EDWARD L. LANGSTON, M.D., has been appointed coordinator of graduate medical education.
Dr. Langston received his bachelor's degree with highest distinction from the School of Pharmacy at Purdue University, and earned his medical degree at Indiana University School of Medicine, achieving Alpha Omega Alpha recognition. His residency training in family medicine was completed at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville. He is board certified in family medicine.
Dr. Langston served as program director of family medicine at Community Hospitals in Indianapolis, and also at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. He served as the medical education coordinator with the Lafayette Medical Education Foundation for several years. He practiced family medicine with Flora Family Physicians for 10 years, and family medicine and geriatrics with the American Health Network in Lafayette through May 2007.
Dr. Langston served on the board of trustees of the American Medical Association (AMA) since June 2003, most recently as chair from June 2007 to June 2008. He remains a member of the Executive Committee of the AMA.
PATSY B. MOORE, R.N., has been appointed division director of Performance Improvement.
BETH TAYLOR, APRN, and CINDY MODLINADAMS, R.N., MSN, ANPBC, have joined St. Elizabeth Regional Health's Palliative Care team.
