EH Leader Lessons, Family Programs set

2008-09-03 / Community

Extension Homemakers Fall Leader Lessons will be offered Sept. 4 at the 4-H Building. The programs are open to the public, so friends and neighbors can be invited.

The programs will include:

10 a.m. - "Wrap It Up." Are you tired of the same boring sandwich ideas? During this program, you will learn that wraps can be a healthy alternative to sandwiches. The history and nutritional value of wraps will be shared as you learn how to make wraps with a variety of fillings.

10 a.m. - "Gifts of Gratitude and Blessing." Having a thankful heart and reaching out in blessing to others are hardly new concepts. That's part of their beauty: They are easily understood, are widely recognized as valuable, and are used by diverse groups of people. But we have only begun to tap the potential of these amazing tools. The possibilities and benefits are immense.

7 p.m. - "Storage Savvy 101." Are you in a quandary about storage issues? What to keep and what to pitch? Where to start? Need ideas for organizing your treasures?

This lesson is full of ideas to help you become storage savvy and create order in your home.
