Cougars take back the skillet
      As the scoreboard was turned off last Friday the Carroll Cougars were celebrating a 14-0 victory over the Delphi Oracles in the annual Bacon Bowl showdown. The game was not nearly as close as the score indicated.

Bacon Bowl Trivia
      During Friday night's Bacon Bowl contest between Carroll and Delphi, an uncle played against his nephew. Sophomore Bradley Roth (#6) was in an Oracle uniform, while his uncle, senior Joshua Pine (#51), was in a Cougar uniform.

      Oracle JV shines The JV Oracles easily won their first game of the season, defeating Logansport 30-0. Scoring for the Oracles were Aaron Back, Stephan Back, Tanner Lynde, and Matt Brown. Jay Moudy added his first career catch in the first half. Defensively, the Berries were totally shut down. They only reached the Oracle 40-yard line one time.

      Special Olympians win state championship Carroll County's coed Special Olympics softball team recently won the state competition. They pulled out a 7-6 win in game one and then won big, 24-2, in the championship game. Team members are Eric Bane, Stephen, Bethany and Jesse Cadwallader, Emily Downham, Charles Fry Sr.
