EH Leader Lessons, Family Programs set
      Extension Homemakers Fall Leader Lessons will be offered Sept. 4 at the 4-H Building. The programs are open to the public, so friends and neighbors can be invited. The programs will include: 10 a.m. - "Wrap It Up." Are you tired of the same boring sandwich ideas? During this program, you will learn that wraps can be a healthy alternative to sandwiches.

Lytle celebrates 100th
      Delma H. (Gallinger) Lytle will celebrate her 100th birthday with family and friends on Sept. 14 at a small family open house. The event will be held from 2-4 p.m. She was born on Sept. 15, 1908, in Patton. No gifts, but cards are welcome.

Storm Relief fundraising ends in Indiana
      The American Red Cross has announced the conclusion of the Indiana Storm Relief fundraising. Sufficient funds were received and pledged to cover the costs of recent Indiana tornado and flood response.

Touch A Fleet Day is Saturday
      The fourth annual Touch A Fleet Day will be Sept. 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Flora Community Park. Families can take a closeup look at construction, farming, and emergency equipment, as well as race cars and other vehicles. For most equipment, children can climb behind the wheel.
