Carroll Girls Golf team split two tournaments this past week. On Aug. 14, Carroll visited Twin Lakes at the par 35 Tippecanoe Country Club. Carroll lost to the hosts 198-202. Leading the Cougars was Megan Garrison with a 3 over par 38. She was also medalist. Rounding out Carroll's scoring were Taylor Sproul 49, Malena Zook 53, Kirsten Arkwright 62, Emma Packard 63, and Katie Unger 67.

On Aug. 18, Carroll defeated Caston at Angel Hill Golf Course in Rossville. The Cougars turned in their best team score of the year with a 189 to Caston's 245. Garrison again was medalist with a 3 over par 38, followed by Sproul with a 48 and personal bests by both Zook 50 and Arkwright 53.
