Ecumenical Women's Retreat set Sept. 19-20
Kimberly Reisman All area women are invited to the Ecumenical Women's Fall Retreat on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 19-20, at Camp Tecumseh, with registration beginning at 4:30 p.m. Friday and the program concluding around noon the following day.
"Living a Life That Matters" is the theme being presented by guest speaker, Kimberly Reisman of West Lafayette. Reisman serves as executive director of Next Step Evangelism Ministries, an extension ministry of the North Indiana Conference of the United Methodist Church. She is a regular speaker at retreats, seminars and workshops both nationally and internationally. She has a Masters of Divinity from Yale Divinity School and is currently working on her PhD. She hosts a weekly Internet radio talk show and has also written several books. Her web site can be visited at nextstepevangelism for more information.
Born in Mississippi, Reisman lived in California, Tennessee, Georgia and Connecticut before moving to Indiana in 1993 with her husband and three children. She enjoys sports, reading, jewelry making, music and participating in the activities of her family.
Cost of the retreat is $50 which includes two meals and an overnight accommodation at Camp Tecumseh Leadership Center. A beverage counter is available in addition to other refreshments. Scholarships are available.
