Deer Creek Presbyterian Church will serve its monthly breakfast on Sept. 6 from 7 to 10 a.m. Everyone is invited.

The women's group of the Deer Creek Presbyterian Church will meet at the home of Doris Fouts tonight, Wednesday, at 7 p.m.

Faith Lutheran Church will host its annual pork chop (all you can eat) supper on Sept. 20, starting at 4 p.m. The women's group will also have its annual make and bake sale at the same time.

The Golden Girls recently went out to lunch in Lafayette. Those attending were Joann Jones and Pat Burrnham of Thorntown, Dot Fulton, Marilyn Hile and Margy Albaugh of Deer Creek, Mary Blue of Cutler, Betty Gordon and Jane Slusser of Logansport.
