Kiwanis Club will meet at 7:30 a.m. Saturday at the fire station for breakfast and meeting.

Community Club will meet at 7 p.m. Sept. 1.

Activities at the Burlington Community Center include: Wednesday - 10:30-11:30 a..m., Bible Study; 1 p.m., canasta. Mon. thru Fri. - 1 p.m., rummikub and euchre. All seniors are welcome to attend. Lunch is served at noon.

Any Burlington area resident needing transportation for doctor appointments, to get groceries, medicine, etc., is asked to call Cheryl Milburn at the number above. If there is enough need in the community for this service, a van may be secured to provide transportation.

Prayer time and Bible study will be held at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 28 at the Church of Christ.

The United Methodist Church will have a wiener roast at 5 p.m. Aug. 31 at the Brays.

Bible study at Crossroads Community Christian Church will be held at 7 p.m. today, Aug. 27.

The Faith Church of Christ all-church flock carry-in dinner has been rescheduled for Sept. 7 at 6 p.m.

Bible study will be held at 6:30 p.m. tonight, Aug. 27, at Faith Church of Christ. Women's Bible study will meet from 9 to 11 a.m. Sept. 2.

High school youth and adults are invited to begin practice for the Christmas cantata at Faith Church of Christ. First practice will be from 5 to 6 p.m. Sept. 7.

First Brethren Church will have breakfast and Bible study Friday morning at 6 at The Dinner Bell.

Oakland Christian Church Bible study will be held at 7 p.m. tonight, Aug. 27, at the Grays.
