Shanks, Lantz wed

Amber Nicole Shanks of Delphi and Herbert Eugene Lantz III of Burnettsville exchanged marriage vows June 28 at 3:30 p.m. at Faith Church of Christ in Burlington. She is the daughter of Randy and Pam Shanks of Delphi. He is the son of Herb and Deb Lantz of Burnettsville.

Pastor Steve Cole officiated. Harp music was provided by friends from Tennessee.

Matron of honor was Holly Shetler, cousin of the bride, of McCordsville. Bridesmaids were Samantha Francis of Rockfield, Jenny Lockard of Wolcott and Katrina Kurtz of Brookston. Flower girls were Ali Francis of Rockfield and Haylee Hancock of Wolcott. Arianne Francis of Rockfield carried the rings.

Best man was Travis Shanks, brother of the bride, of Rockfield. Groomsmen were Denny Francis of Rockfield, Kyle Hancock and Chris Dye of Wolcott. Ushers were Troy and Mark Shanks, cousins of the bride, of Camden, Shawn Kelly of North Carolina, and Chad Mayhill of Reynolds. Junior ushers were Christopher Shetler of McCordsville and Adam Shanks of Camden, cousins of the bride, Dakota and Lance Glander, nephews of the groom, of Monticello.

A reception followed the ceremony in the church fellowship hall. A second reception was held at the Rockfield Community Building. Servers were Tara Shanks, aunt of the bride, of Camden and Barbara Shetler, aunt of the bride, of Mc- Cordsville.

Gift registrars were Jordan Glander and Sierra Glander of Monticello. Personal attendant was Erin Hancock of Lafayette.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Delphi Community High School and a 2003 graduate of Indiana University Kokomo, with a bachelor's degree. She is employed at Milner Community Health Care Center in Rossville.

The groom is a 1998 graduate of Twin Lakes High School. He is employed at Fairfield Contractors in Lafayette.

The couple will visit the Bahamas for a week in October. They reside in Rockfield.
