Three students from Carroll County were among 1,513 students who received degrees during graduation ceremonies Aug. 9 at Indiana Wesleyan University's main campus in Marion. Graduating were AMY EBERHARD, Delphi, Associate of Science degree in business; SHAUN ROSE, Bringhurst, Master of Education degree in education; and JEFFREY TOMSON, Camden, Master of Arts degree in ministry.
WYNDHAM TRAXLERCARTER, art teacher in the Carroll schools, participated in "Extending Teacher Creativity: A Summer Workshop on Integration, Collaboration and Technology" on the campus of Indiana State University. Funding was provided by Lilly Endowment Inc.
The workshop focused on curriculum integration and professional collaboration.
For the past 15 summers, ISU has hosted this opportunity for a competitively selected group of former Teacher Creativity Fellows.
The Teacher Creativity Fellowship Program was developed in 1987 as an opportunity for Indiana public school teachers to design creative projects for personal and professional renewal.
