Anna Scharer, Madison Rinehart and Halle Chambers (l-r) recently competed in the Dupree Tap & Jazz Camp in Chicago. They are students of Kari Meissnest at Dance Elite Studio in Kokomo. Anna and Halle are members of the Senior VIP group and Madison is a member of the Junior VIP group. Both groups received gold awards in competition. Anna performed a jazz solo and received a scholarship to be an All-Star dancer for 2009. Halle competed as part of a jazz trio and Madison performed a lyrical solo. This fall, Anna will be attending Ball State University, while Halle and Madison are students at Carroll Jr.-Sr. High School. Photo provided
