Applications are being accepted for the annual Burlington Fall Festival Prince and Princess Contest. The event will be held at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 18 in the Community Building.

The contest is open to boys and girls ages 4 to 6. To be eligible to compete, they must reside within 10 miles of Burlington, have affiliations with social or church organizations of Burlington, have a mother or father employed in Burlington, or grandparents who reside in Burlington.

Children will model a casual outfit and a church dress outfit. No long formals or costumes will be allowed.

A pre-contest practice for all contestants will be held Sept. 15 at 6 p.m. Interviews with contestants will be Sept. 18 a 515 p.m.

Contestants who place will be in the Fall Festival Parade on Sept. 20.

The entry fee is $12 per child.
