LEAH CREE of Camden has qualified for the dean's honor list at Ball State University, Muncie, for her academic achievement during the summer session.

APRIL PRUITT, a teacher at Kathie's Klubhouse Inc. Child Care Center of Delphi, has been awarded a scholarship through the T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood Indiana Project, sponsored by the Indiana Association for the Education of Young Children.

Pruitt has been in child care for a year. She will complete four classes or 120 clock hours towards the Child Development Associate Credential. The scholarship award will pay a portion of the cost of tuition and books and provide a travel stipend.

As part of the scholarship award program, Kathie's Klubhouse will pay a portion of the cost of tuition. In return, Pruitt will make a commitment to continue teaching at the center for an additional year.

Upon receipt of the credential, Pruitt will receive a $200 bonus from T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood Indiana.
