Old Settlers officers

At the 153rd annual meeting of the Carroll County Old Settlers Association on Saturday, the following officers were elected for 2009: Billie Hedde, president; Bonnie Maxwell, vice president; Meredith Ayres, secretarytreasurer; and Nancy Ringer, historian.

Delphi CWF

The CWF of the Delphi Christian Church met Aug. 4. Thirteen members answered roll call by naming their favorite flower.

Committee members gave a report about the progress of the church's 100th anniversary celebration scheduled for Oct. 19.

Katie Cree gave the study on Miriam, sister of Moses.

The next meeting will be Sept. 8 with Lee Nydegger as hostess.
