Five generations
      Mckynzye Rae White was born July 29 to Kaleena and Sean White of Alexandria, Va. She then traveled five states with her parents and two dogs to attend her Aunt Kaicey's wedding and meet her many grandparents.

OS Art Show winners named
      Delphi Art Club announces two Best of Show winners and eight People's Choice winners, along with other awards, in the club's annual Old Settlers Art Show. Shirley Chapman won Best of Show in Fine Arts for her pen and ink drawing, "Bountiful Hands.

Maternal grandparents are Charlotte Hicks of Flora and the late Weldon K. Hicks. Paternal grandparents are Ted and Joselyn Howard of Delphi and the late Jean M. Jennings-Nelson.

      Burlington Kiwanis Club is sponsoring a Red Cross Blood Drive on Aug. 26 from 1 to 6:30 p.m. in the Community Park Building. All presenting donors will receive a t-shirt. Requirements to donate are: donor must be at least 17 years of age, weigh a minimum of 110 pounds and be in good general health. All donors need to present positive identification.

      Camden Town Council will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday. The council will hold an executive session at 6 p.m. Friday. Meetings are now being held in the Reading Room at the Camden library. Camden Lions Club's annual Tractor Pull will be Friday and Saturday at Camden-Jackson Twp. Park. Friday's pull will begin at 6 p.m. and Saturday's at 1 p.m.

      The Deer Creek Festival will be held Aug. 23 in Deer Creek. It will start at the Deer Creek Presbyterian Church with a breakfast starting at 8 a.m. A flea market will be held in the church parking lot from 8 to 4. The rest of the festival will be held at the community center. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

      Camden-Jackson Twp. Judy Berkshire recently led the library group discussion of the Carroll County on the Same Page book, "Animal, Vegetable, Miracle" by Barbara Kingsolver. She is a garden enthusiast herself and related some of her own experiences.

      Delphi Boy Scout Troop, Pack 155 was recognized for achievements on Aug. 3 at a Court of Honor. A total of 102 badges were presented with most of the badges earned at Summer Camp at Camp Buffalo.
