CAMERON NORMAN, son of Greg and Susan Norman of Flora, has recently become a member of Phi Sigma Theta National Honor Society at Indiana University.
Phi Sigma Theta is dedicated to recognizing and rewarding academic achievement in undergraduates at institutions of higher learning.
WENDY STILLER of Flora was named to the University of Evansville's dean's list for outstanding academic achievement for the spring 2008 semester.
NOELLE M. HEBER of Delphi graduated with distinction from DePaul University in Chicago in June with a Master of Music from the School of Music.
KELLY (SISSON) DARDEEN has received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Indiana State University. She is the daughter of Scott Sisson and the late Jennifer (Mc- Dowell) Sisson of Flora.
Dr. Dardeen received her B.S. in psychology in 2000 and her M.S. in Mental Health Counseling in 2004, also from ISU. She has completed a one-year residency at the Veterans Affairs Salt Lake City Health Care System, as well as successfully completing her dissertation. She received her final degree Aug. 1.
Dr. Dardeen has accepted a position as a Geropsychologist and Psychological Consultant with Deer Oaks Behavioral Health Corporation in Victoria, Texas. Deer Oaks is a national company with offices throughout the United States that offers outpatient mental health treatment as well as a variety of specialized mental health treatment services for geriatric patients. She will work with local nursing and hospital facilities to provide comprehensive psychological care to hospitalized geriatric patients.
She will be relocating to LeGrange, Texas, with her husband Lonnie Dardeen, who is director of the LeGrange, Texas, Air Evac Lifeteam air medical helicopter base.
