Berta, Wilson vows pledged

Lieutenant Thomas D. Wilson and Leslie Ann Berta were married June 14 in a military ceremony held at Lee Chapel on the campus of Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Va. Father Peter Rocca of Notre Dame conducted the ceremony.

Parents of the couple are John and Pat Berta of South Bend and Lt. Col. Chuck and Elaine Wilson of Delphi.

Bridesmaids were Jessica Konzer of Michigan and Mary Brown of New Hampshire.

Groomsmen were Lt. Brad Steidle of Florida and Jackson Todd of Maryland.

Other members of the wedding party were Scott Bockover, cousin of the bride, and Mark Shortz, cousin of the groom. Pianist was Susan Trueblood of Delphi.

A reception was held June 14 at The Virginia Military Institute.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of Purdue University and a graduate of Colorado State University. She is a veterinarian technician, specializing in horses in Anchorage, Alaska.

The groom is a 2006 graduate of Virginia Military Institute. He has a degree in International Studies and French. He is stationed at Elmendorf Air Force Base in Anchorage, and is an intelligence officer for the 19th fighter squadron.

They are residing at 6902 Anderson Circle, Unit B, Elmendorf AFB, Alaska 99506.
