In last week's editorial, the Comet stated the Comprehensive Land Use Plan Steering Committee was appointed in early 2007. That was incorrect. Ground Rules Inc. was retained to develop the plan at that time.

Although it was recommended by Ground Rules the steering committee be appointed at the beginning of the process to guide the plan and work with Ground Rules, the committee was not appointed until much later in the year and the first committee meeting was not called for several months after that.
