May Mary May of Delphi will celebrate her 90th birthday at an open house on Saturday. The event, hosted by her family, will be from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Wabash & Erie Canal Conference Center, Delphi.

She was born July 26, 1918, in rural Mulberry, to Forest and Ruth Miller. She married Carl E. May and he died in 1961.

Mrs. May retired from Purdue University.

She is the mother of two sons, Howard May of Waverly, Ill., and Dean May (wife: Allie) of Cutler. There are five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
