Steve P. Reynolds
Steve P. Reynolds, 85, formerly of Logansport, passed away at 2:08 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, 2008, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Center in Delphi.
He was born Sept. 2, 1922, in Milwaukee, Wisc.
He was a graduate of South Division High School in Milwaukee and then attended Radio and Drama School in Beloit. He was a veteran of World War II in the United States Coast Guard and came to Logansport in 1950 where he worked at WSAL radio as a professional radio announcer. He later worked for various stations in Louisiana and Florida and then returned to Logansport.
He married Marjorie Been on Dec. 1, 1951, at St. Joseph's Church in Logansport and she survives.
Mr. Reynolds was a member of the All Saints Catholic Church.
He was a gentle man who saw the good in everyone.
Surviving are two sons, Robin Reynolds of Logansport and Trevor Reynolds (wife: Susan) of Sharpsville; two grandchildren, Parker Reynolds and Reagan Reynolds, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Chester and Sigmund.
A private family service was held on Friday with Father Jeff Martin officiating. A private interment will be held at a later date in Brown Church Cemetery in Carroll County.
