Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating a boat accident July 16 on Lake Freeman. The operator of the Jet Ski Anna M. Crosser of Monticello and a passenger were aboard when the craft approached a dock at a reportedly high rate of speed.
According to Conservation Officer Clay Webb, the ski was traveling around 40 miles per hour when it struck a seawall. Both occupants were thrown from the watercraft and both were wearing life jackets.
Crosser complained of knee and shoulder pain and was taken to White County Hospital. The passenger was unharmed.
