Local couple coach students to reserve national championship

Carroll County residents Ryan and Tracie Egger recently coached the Indiana Youth Paint Horse Club Judging Team to a Reserve National Championship title. Youth from across the country competed in the judging contest held at the APHA World Show in Fort Worth, Texas, June 21-July 5. The team placed first in performance and oral reasons and second in halter and over all. Individual honors were awarded to team members Kyrsten Dunham and Jessica Huffer, both Clinton Prairie High School students. Dunham placed fifth in halter and Huffer placed second in performance and third in oral reasons. Team members Brooke Pence of Danville placed third in performance and sixth over all and Morgan Gadd of Fishers placed second in halter, fourth in performance, first in oral reasons and third over all.
