CARROLL COUNTY DEMOCRATS will meet July 24 at 7 p.m. at the Camden Library.

Carroll County OLD SETTLERS celebration will be Aug. 6-9 in and around the courthouse square in Delphi. It will include a carnival, colonial crafts, a quilt show, Delphi Art Club's art show, music and entertainment, along with special dinners. The Carroll County Historical Museum will be open additional hours and is asking for volunteer help.

The annual SUMMER BOOK SALE hosted by the Friends of the Delphi Public Library will be held at the library on Main and Indiana streets Aug. 8 from 4 to 7 p.m., for members only, and Aug. 9 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for public purchases. Anyone who would like to become a member and shop Aug. 8 can join at the door. The Friends invites the public to become one of the "book sorter crew" and help organize the books (and discover the deals) beginning Aug. 4.
