DCSC, churches to sponsor Community Prayer Breakfast

      The Delphi Community School Corporation will host the first annual Community Prayer Breakfast on Aug. 13 in the High School Commons. The event is being sponsored by the school corporation and local churches. The breakfast will begin at 7 a.m. with an eventfilled program to follow.

      The Christianaires will minister in song Aug. 3 at Hickory Grove Church during the 10 a.m. worship service. The Christianaires' music is a blend of the kinds of music that reaches the heart and positively communicates the message of Jesus Christ.

Deer Creek churches
      Deer Creek Presbyterian and Faith Lutheran churches in Deer Creek are joining together to offer Vacation Bible School. The one-day event will be held Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. All area children, pre-kindergarten age through sixth, grade are invited to attend.
