Hampton has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga. During the nine weeks of training, the soldier received training in drill and ceremonies, weapons, map reading, tactics, military courtesy, military justice, physical fitness, first aid, and Army history, core values and traditions. More ... Camden Public "Catch the Reading Bug" summer program ended last week with special activities. Delphi United Methodist Church recently sent a 24- member mission team to the Appalachian Mountain Region of White Oak, Tenn. During the week-long trip, the team served four families in the Campbell County community. Several of the team members were veterans, others were first-timers, and seven were youth of the church.
