Flora Presbyterian

A Veggie Tales® VBS is planned at the Flora Presbyterian Church, with Flora First Christian and Cutler Presbyterian churches joining the sponsorship.

The Bible School will be July 20-24, beginning with a light supper at 6 p.m. each evening, activities at 6:30, and concluding at 8:30.

The adventure will follow the theme, "Heroes: the Pirates that Don't Do Anything."

Adults included

Two adult options are also available during the same Bible School hours.

One is a Bible study, focusing on the same Scripture passages that the children will be exploring.

The other is a parenting workshop featuring a video series by Drs. Les and Leslie Parrott on parenting young children. There will be opportunity for discussion on such topics as tantrums, potty training, discipline, sleepless nights, single-parenting, etc. Childcare will be available for children too young to attend the Bible School.

Valley View Baptist

Valley View Baptist Church, Flora, will have its Vacation Bible School July 16, 17, and 18 from 6 to 8 p.m.

The Bible School is for ages 3 through 12.
