Hertenstein Janet Hertenstein

Janet (Gangler) Hertenstein will be honored for her 90th birthday with a reception on July 26.

The event, hosted by her family, will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Deer Creek Community Center.

Mrs. Hertenstein was born July 27, 1918, in Chicago, Ill. She married Rev. Ted Hertenstein on July 21, 1945, and they were married for 51 years before his death in 1996.

She has three children, Evelyn Wicker (husband: Brian) of Burleson, Texas, Ron Hertenstein of Fort Wayne, and Teresa Cooksey (husband: Robert) of Deer Creek. She has five grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren.

Mrs. Hertenstein resides in Deer Creek. Cards may be sent to her at 4973N State Road 29, Camden, IN 46917.

The family invites friends to join in the celebration, but requests that gifts be omitted.

The Delaney family is hosting a reception honoring Grace Hibner Delaney for her 90th birthday. The event will be held from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Center, 701 Armory Road, Delphi.
