Joint Vacation Bible School will be held at the Deer Creek Presbyterian Church with Faith Lutheran Church also participating. It will be held on July 26. Register by calling the Presbyterian Church office. All children ages 3 through 6th grade are welcome to attend.

Members of the Deer Creek Presbyterian Church are leaving after worship on Sunday to go to Indianapolis to attend "Smoke on the Mountain" at Beef 'N Boards.

Deer Creek Presbyterian Church raised over $1000 for the Hoosier Relief Fund at a recent Saturday breakfast. If interested in donating, make checks out and send to the church to be forwarded on.

Steve Martin filled in at Sunday morning worship at Faith Lutheran Church. There will be fellowship Sunday after worship.

Don and Betty Bell attended "Smoke on the Mountain" in Indianapolis recently with their grandsons and their wives, Ryan and Maggie Bell of Avon and Mark and Melissa Bell and son Mike Bell, and friend.

There will be a celebration for the 90th birthday of Janet Hertenstein to be held at the Community Center on July 26.

Recently overnight guest of George and Lois Wallace was Kathy Schultz. She was on her way to Fort Wayne to visit her mother.

Dana and Tracy Hile took his mother, Marilyn Hile, with them on a 10-day trip to Myrtle Beach. While there they did some sightseeing and attended a mystery dinner play.
