Grandparents are Ann Weaver of Rossville and Don and Kathy Reece of Lafayette. Maternal greatgrandparents are Osie and Ray Wilson of Delphi. Paternal great-grandparents are Tim and Elaine Quinn of Camden.

      Camden Lions Club's horse pull contest (heavy weight boat pull) will be Saturday, July 26, at 6 p.m. at the Camden-Jackson Twp. Park. Applications for the Camden Pageant contests are available at the Camden Grocery. All applicants must reside in Jackson, Rock Creek, Liberty, or Washington township.

Loves her llama
      Kady McVay took junior showmanship honors in the llama/alpaca show Monday night at the Carroll County 4-H Fair. Her llama's name is Willow. The beef show started this morning, the swine show starts Thursday at 7:30 a.m.

County's littlest royalty
     Five-year-olds Jilian Herron and Caleb Wolfe, seated center, were crowned Carroll County's Little Miss and Mister at the annual pageant held Friday evening in Flora. Jilian is the daughter of Tom and Sarina Herron of Burlington. Caleb's parents are Derik and Bridget Wolfe of Delphi. Members of their court are: Seated - Devin Myers, 6, son of Jason and Libby Myers of Delphi, left, and Ashlyn Pullen, 6, daughter of Darren and Janelle Pullen of Bringhurst, right. Back - Keegan Retzlaff, 7, daughter of Rick and Miki Retzlaff of Bringhurst, left, and Dagan Noonkester, 6, son of Dustin and Jennifer Noonkester of Flora, right. Jillian, Caleb and their court participated in Sunday's 4-H Parade and are helping the 4-H Fair Queen and her court pass out ribbons and awards to 4-Hers at the county fair this week.
